Looking at the comments, I can tell some of these folks likely have other medical issues that are not being addressed by diet alone. Having a very low thyroid number or adrenal insufficiency are not in the same league as those suffering from various levels of adrenal fatigue which is more of a nuisance.
Since my older brothers background is a Paleo and Ketogenic based, I decided two weeks ago to start a low-carb, high-fat ketogenic diet that consists of intermittent fasting from dawn through noon. I am struggling, as I stride into my third week. My sleep cycle, for one, is not consistent. I wake up a few times throughout the night, but I am able to fall asleep easily after each time I wake. You might want to cut out the intermittent fasting and try eating three meals and day and see how you do on that.
You might also want to play around with carb intake to see what works best for you now. You are not eating enough carbs. Hi, I am dealing with adrenal fatigue and trying to add the paleo diet to my list of tools to heal myself. I am having a hard time getting enough food in with the paleo diet.

I ate organic or all natural foods ,vegetables and especially meats and always made sure i ate 3 nutrient dense meals with healthy snacking in between and atleast 20 minutes of exercise.
I have struggled with adrenal fatigue on and off for a couple of years. I have been doing extremely well, but I am now 7 months pregnant with my third, my husband ran into a stressful patch at work and BAM, the super low blood pressure with racing heart and insomnia all came back. I also narrowly missed being diagnosed with gestational diabetes by running up stairs after having drunk the whopping g of sugar I normally eat Paleo so that is a TON of sugar for me.
So here is my question: I need Mg — a lot of it, to deal with anxiety and muscle cramps. But the more Mg I take, the more palpitations and panic attacks I have. I can fix the palps with salt: sea salt. Anyone else have trouble balancing these minerals or any suggestions? Hi Ruth i was diagnosed with severe AF last June and i have seen tremendous improvement in my health.
Do you see a doctor regularly for your AF. A hair analysis also showed that i had severe mineral imbalance and i am still on mineral supplements to correct that.
